This is a Circle Drawing Tool that will draw a circle from 1 inch up to 15 1/4 inch in radius. There are two 3D printed parts, the pivot (Circle Tool Clamp 1) and the adjustable marker holder (Circle Tool Clamp 2). The marker holder is designed to hold the Clover Chalk Marker pen, but can hold any other marking device.

Non 3D Printed Parts

• 1/2 inch aluminum bar from any hardware store cut to desired length
• self adhesive measuring tape, 1/2 inch wide. I acquired a metal tape from Amazon

• 1 inch finishing nail or other metal pin (cut the head of the nail)
• 3 M5 x 1/4 hex screws
• Gorilla (or other brand) glue

The Pivot attachment has a point on the bottom. I shaved the tip flat then drilled a small hole to insert the nail/pin. To make it permanant, inject a small amount of Gorilla Glue in the hole then insert the pin. The screw hole on the top can be used to line up the Pivot attachment to the start/zero line of the tape measure, then insert and tighten the M5 screw.

The Marker Holder fits snuggly on the 1/2 inch bar, therefore it may not be necessary to use a M5 screw to hold it in place. Depending on the 1/2 bar and thickness of the measuring tape, it may be necessary to use a file to increase the internal size of the holder. There is a viewing window on the top which allows you to see the tape with an alignment line to set it precisely. This will align with your marking tool.

The aluminum bar, once cut to length should be buffed/sanded to remove any burrs and thoroughly cleaned to ensure good adhesion of the measuring tape.
