This was a engine I designed and printed, however it is defunct. There are several design flaws, the major one being with the gears for the camdrive, and that those are nonexistent or hard to get. Additionally to this, there should be a ballbearing which I elected to ignore(for some reason). Another issue would be the difficulty of producing some of these parts if you are inexperienced. Yet another issue is that i have not yet decided on what sparkplug to use, so the cylinder head is not really useful. Added onto that is the large combustion chamber which makes for a very poor compression ratio.. Although i have thought about designing one myself, that has not happened yet. *springs have not been added between valve case and valve foot. As spring constant has not been decided on

The rest of the design should be relatively solid, with a 20mm bore and 10mm stroke producing about 3cc. The carburetor should be able to function fairly well although some parts are very thin which is going to looked over. The sparkplug would be activated by a hall effect sensor and magnet, mounted on the end of the camshaft. As for the camshaft I believe it would work and with a medium long opening. *a small note on the camshaft. As far as I intended, i intended to make them with a mill and a jig, rotating them about 5 degrees between each cut(as seen in this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ATAy_2yaokk&t=74s) instead of making it on a lathe as seen in Maker B videos

Most screws intended for use would be M3x10 and M3x20 alongside M3 and M4 set screws.

There is some parts noted as "alt" which are experimental ideas or variants. Engine v2.iam is the main assembly, Engine v2 alt.iam test some ideas which likely will occur in Engine v3

I upload this design as a inspiration design, there are drawings of parts if you are unable to use inventor and those while wonky should be well enough to draw said design in some other software.

My biggest gripe with said video was he never released any drawings from what i know, and during that time in the summer of 2023 I still didn't find any design or practical drawings online besides a few stl files. So by using his video as a reference and various info i scrounged up online I made this. A flawed but a simple engine. I aim to release v3 soon once I fix some issues and decide on certain aspects. And that one should hopefully function well *Some of the drawings are older, i will have to update those soon.

Selection of material: Aluminum(no specific variant)-Engine Block, Piston, Crankshaft Holder, Cylinder head, gearcase. Steel(no specific variant)-Crankshaft, Camshaft, all gears, Cylinder sleeve, piston ring(this one should be spring steel although regular steel could work, should be heatreated), valve, valve foot, Hall effect Magnet Holder, Piston rod, Piston Rod bottom, Piston rod cylinder. Brass-Carburetor, Exhaust Manifold, Camshaft Holder, Valve case. Fuel: Methanol(Nitro engine 4 stroke) Gasoline? *Gasoline could potentially be used however might prove too strong, I'd use methanol first and if it doesn't blow up try minor trials with gasoline. It is a gasoline engine after all.

The manufacture of these parts are made possible by my school having a machining lab and a 3 axis CNC mill, therefore your mileage may vary if you do not have one.

Feel free to use this as it does serve as a neat thing to have printed since I used it for said purpose in my makerspace at campus. That or iterate. I simply ask for credit, nothing more nothing less.
