Parts List
Boat Stand:
- 4 x M4 threaded inserts.
- 4 x M4 screws, minimum 12mm in length.
Boat:
Hardware:
- M3 thread inserts. Quantity TBA.
- M4 thread inserts. Quantity TBA.
- M3 screws. Length and quantity TBA.
- 1 x M6 Water Cooling outlet.
- 1 x Prop Shaft. I used L15cm H10cm (shaft length and sleeve length).
- I think the L20cm H15cm would work too.
- 1 x U-Joint Coupler. Make sure it match your prop shaft and motor shaft diameters! I used 4mm to 5mm.
Electronics:
The electronics are your choice, but these are the parts that I used:
-
Transmitter (TBA)
-
Receiver (TBA), ideally waterproof! (But I do plan to make a waterproof box)
-
Waterproof Brushless Motor, I used the 3665 2300KV motor.
-
Water-cooled Electronic Speed Controller (ESC). I used the 90A one.
- As a rule of thumb, use one that is rated for 20% more than your motor is rated for. So for me, that is: 20% more -> 1.2 x 70A = 90A.
-
2s or 3s LiPo battery, just make sure all the voltage and current ratings are sufficient for the ESC and motor. Make sure that the voltage isn't too high for the motor and ESC.
6.2 x Servo Motor
