Modelo 3D Modular Tile System por hooverbw no Thingiverse

Descrição

This is a system of hexagon tiles and condition rings that interlock to form a complete miniature playing surface. These tiles can be used for hexed based tabletop wargaming such as BattleTech or even RPGs such as Forbidden Lands.

Have you ever wanted to customize your own terrain? Not wanted just a simple flat surface or premade map. Maybe you can't tell if you can see your target or not while they are high up on a hill or around a corner. These tiles give you the ability to paint your terrain the way you want it and to then assemble a different layout every time you play.

Each base tile is designed to interlock with up to 6 surrounding tiles to form a continuous surface (until you run out of tiles at least). Then there are pieces that will also let you build up as well. Want trees, got those. Want fire, smoke, even walls, got all those as well. Rivers, sand, water, roads, or just plain blank pieces that you can add your own content to. Want a downed alien ship, a pile made up of your dead enemies, just use blank tiles and add what you want.

There are 4 different roads from straight to Y to 2 different angles so you can build and entire road system.

Flat sheets of 20 tiles that interconnect with other sheets and give you the freedom to build a large surface quickly. These sheets can even be raised up with raisers pylons or even your least favorite books under them. To organize the tiles these is a sleeve available that can hold up to 21 tiles or a mix of tiles and risers.

This system was originally designed to support the FASA/Catalyst Game Labs BattleTech game miniatures. The hexes are slightly larger than the standard hex size for BattleTech so that there is clearance for some miniatures to be placed inside the condition rings. Think about a mech being in a space that you then set on fire, yeah you can use a ring to mark that.

The following pieces are currently available with more to follow if and when inspiration strikes: • 5 x 4 (20 hex) base plate • 1 level or 2 level pylons for base plate • Plain hex full or half sized for map edge • Rough/rocks/brush hex • River hex • Coastline/Sand/Shore hex • Water/Sand hex • Roads – Straight, Y, 60-degree curve, 120-degree curve • 1 level riser block • 1 level riser with interlocking base • Empty ring for personal modding or to cover the links between tiles • Light woods ring • Heavy woods ring • Fire ring • Smoke ring • Concrete wall ring • Tile storage sleeve
