Adjustable camera / smart phone stand - fits all phones up to a thickness of 10 mm including iPhone 4-5, Galaxy Nexus, Galaxy Note. The stand ball joint allows for adjustable tilt and (some) roll.

Excellent for time lapse photography, stop motion movies, web cam setups (perhaps for monitoring your 3D printer?)

This is my first model which is "not entirely useless" (quote from a PhD dissertation I witnessed). Yay!

Print in fine resolution. On my Replicator 2 the 0.1 mm gap between ball joint outer and inner parts provide quite a lot of friction, which is necessary to keep the camera fixed in all positions.

Assembly is limited to sliding the two holder parts together and twisting the stand base in place.

To prevent the phone to slide sideways in the holder, you can add a strip of rubber or similar on the lower holder. I have used decor rubber, but bicycle hose, silicon pads, etc should work fine.

I have also placed silicon pads on the bottom of the stand to prevent it from sliding on the surface it stands on.
