Ultimate cable guide customizer

The cable guides can be used to organize cables and can be attached to tables or surfaces. Depending on the type of surface (metallic, wooden, flat) different mounting options can be used, like magnets screws or adhesive tape. The cables can be fastened by rings, ties/tape or clamps.

The customizer allows the create various types and sizes of cable guides, with

• different table/wall mount options
• different cable fastenings

Table/wall/surface mount options:

• Magnetic, magnets can be:
  • pressed in and fixed with glue (cylindric magnets),
  • inserted from the side and fixed with some hot-glue - (cylindric or bar magnets)
  • fixed by screw+nut (cylindric magnets with counter-sunk screw-hole)
• Centered screw hole
• Flat bottom for Glue or Double-sided adhesive tape

Cable fastening options:

• Intertwined rings/hooks
• Cable ties / Velcro tape (Klettband)
• Foldback clamps

NOTE: The rings option does have problems in Thingiverse customizer (rings are closed - they should be partially open): Download scad and run locally.
