Descrição
Upon purchasing the Plastruder MK5, I was bewildered to discover that there's nowhere to mount the actual control electronics. (I still have no idea what MakerBot Industries was thinking with this one.)
I rewired and hung the EC off the side of the bot, which is a reasonable configuration with the new relay board. This is the mount I used. I didn't post it initially because it's ridiculously simple..but it's so much simpler than the other EC mounts on here that I thought it might be useful to someone!
Instruções
Look at the picture, it shows these steps.
Print.
Place M3x12 bolts in the outer holes. The bolts must screw in tightly -- they will become captive, so you can adjust the nuts without being able to access the caps. You may need to drill the holes out slightly, particularly if you use PLA, but be careful not to widen them too much! (This is why I slightly undersized them in the SCAD.)
Place one M3x12 or M3x15 in the center hole. This one can be loose.
Mate the assembly with one M3 nut on the inside of the MakerBot's chassis.
Mount the EC onto the exposed bolts.
