Descrição
I needed a prettier container for a gift.
As I already have a well working and nice cap. I only make this new jar. You will find the lid here: Container with Knurled Lid.
The new design does not only look good. It improves the container noticeable. You get about twice the volume with same amont of fillament compared with my first container with same stability. So it is ideal for bigger boxes.
Print both and try it yourself.
Instruções
Print the lid from here as usual.
Print the container with no infill and no top layer. Use shell thickness of about 1mm (diameter 20-60mm) and 1.25mm (diameter 75 and 100mm). This depends on your nozzle diameter.
If the bottom is to unstable for you, you may try a thicker bottom thickness:
20-25mm diameter => 1mm
30-40mm diameter => 1.5mm
50-60mm diameter => 2mm
75-100mm diameter => 2.5mm
I have tried the CURA slicer and Slic3r. Slic3r did a perfect job. The CURA result was not good, very rough on the inside, maybe I missed the correct setting.
I recommend to check the container in the layer view before printing!
If you want to play with the customer, choose the same parameter as for the lid.
I recomment this parameters for the customizer:
size 20-60, wall_thickness=2
up to size 100 wall_thickness=2.5
Large container should also work. It would be nice to get a feedback, if you try that.
