I found when using the manual filament holder with a full roll or filament that every time you start a new print the filament guide tube is moved up and then down. This makes the filament lose and it pops off the reel. So, unless you stand there for 5 minuets as the printer gets ready to run the job you will not be able to correct this problem of the filament coming off the full reel and getting tangled.
