Round bases, in the style of Citadel ones. No detail. Very boring. Why? You've probably got more plastic bases than you need, and there's a million available for free that other people have made that are absolutely fine. So, er, hmm. No massively good reason. But I wanted to make my own, to my own exacting specifications. And if I've made something, why not share it?
Bases all have a basic scaffold underneath to attach supports and so on.
Sizes available are:
- 21.5mm
- 25mm
- 28.5mm
- 32mm
- 40mm
Sorry, 21.5mm??? I know, right? This is not a standard Citadel base size (until I infiltrate GW and make it so). I wanted something for the very smallest models. The sidekicks. The familiars. The Little Guys. AKA some of the best models! Some of them look a little lost on full 25mm bases, and I wanted to give them a little less visual importance than the miniatures they accompany. So, yeah, 21.5mm - a size chosen to fit nicely in line with the 25 -> 28.5 -> 32mm set.
What's with the semi_sup files? The "semi_sup" files are semi-supported.
Semi? Right, so they have a continuous support around half the rim. This is not enough to support the base. You'll have to add conventional supports too. But this is my preferred way of getting a nice crisp lower edge on a base.
