Description
Was not happy with the cable management systems for the Sovol SV07 Plus that I had found, so I designed my own. It works well, so I decided to release it to all to us. It uses a 4mm bowden tube as the spine and this tube links between, the printed clips and extruder mounting clip. This creates a cable support to hold the ribbon loom up and out of the way of the rear part cooling fan that can be found on the SV07 Plus. It also lifts the cable up so that it does not crash and bend into the left Z axis rail.
Additional clips added, the two additional parts are only required should you be forced into running the loom cable at the front of the Z axis top strut and left hand rail. The removal of the X stepper cover, the one that looks like a transformer. Once the two screws are removed, there are two clips that you can just push from the back to release the blue cover. When the cover is removed, with CA glue, I use medium, the two parts together ensure that the end is aligned. The glued part will then slide into the cover into the limit switch cavity, then once the cover is returned the little nip will slide into the third hole on the backing plate, to retain the part from sliding out. I use 0.2mm layer height, no supports required, I will suggest a 5mm brim sitting off about 0.16mm to help with bed adhesion, if you concerned. I do not use this part, as my hot end wire loom goes out the back of the printer.
It was suggested that the "X Stepper Clip Base Mount" and "X Stepper Clip Cable Holder" be combined, so that gluing was not necessary. This does require the use of Supports, so if you do not mind using supports and not have the need to glue parts together, your only need to download the one file named :- "X Stepper Clip Base and Cable Mount". Hope this help some out. I have also added some material around the slot on part "SV07 Cable Extruder Mount" if you have not had an issue you can still keep and use this part. But from Ver2 the part will be heavier around the slot.
As I found that keeping the cable loom vertical behind the left A axis lead screw, I modified the "Cable Buckle" that came with the SV07 Plus printer. The name of this file is "Cable Buckle Mod". This modded part allows for the bowden tube to be inserted as per the photos. This help to keep the cable loom in place, also there are additonal holes to allow for cable ties to retain the modded cable buckle to the ledd screw plate.
