Descrição
This is a design for duck calls, where there is a growing variety of shapes and sizes. Each duck call has two printed parts, an outer body and an insert. There are a variety of shape options for the body and insert that can be interchanged as they use a common inner diameter. Different combinations of parts with different parameters will affect the sound produced. You can also use the OpenSCAD files and change parameters for generation of other variations.
To assemble a duck call, you also need a plastic reed and piece of cork to hold the reed to the insert.
The cork from a wine stopper can be cut to the necessary size (e.g. 15mm x 10mm x 3mm). You can alternatively print one of the stopper STL files using TPU. The file stopper-3_6.stl likely works best for most or all of the duck calls, so try it first.
The reed can be cut from a piece of rigid, but flexible plastic (e.g. mylar) that might be found on a sheet, disposable plastic plate, or product package that is less than .5mm in thickness. The width of the reed should be 14mm, and the length can vary based on the specific insert, which might be 40mm - 50mm in length depending upon the dimensions of the insert. The end of the reed must extend slightly (2-4mm) past the central air hole.
The design of the call body makes it easy to attach a lanyard.
