DIY Arcade Controller - Assembly Guide
Thank you for choosing our DIY Arcade Controller kit! With this kit, you can build your own customized arcade controller and enjoy hours of fun with classic arcade games. Before you get started, make sure you have all the necessary parts, tools, and materials.
Parts:
1x Joystick top 1x Joystick case 1x Joystick buttomlid 1x Button case 1x Button buttomlid 1x USB mount 4x Joystick spacer
Tools and materials:
M3 machine screws M3 tap Screwdriver 3D printer
Filament (PLA or other material of your choice) Note: Before assembling, ensure that all the 3D-printed parts have been printed correctly and are free from any defects or damages. If you notice any issues, reprint the affected parts before proceeding.
Assembly Process:
Step 1: Tapping threads To prepare the cabinet for M3 machine screws, you need to tap threads in the relevant holes. Use an M3 tap to create threads in the holes on the side panels where the joystick holder and button holders are attached.
Step 2: Assembel Joystick and Button Case with M3
Step 3: Place and mount Joystick and Button into Case, joustick may need spacer and selftapping screws
Step 5: Assembling the controller Now that all the parts are attached and threads are tapped, it's time to assemble your DIY Arcade Controller. Screw M3 machine screws into the threaded holes to connect the various parts and ensure a stable construction.
Congratulations! You have successfully assembled your own DIY Arcade Controller. Connect it to your favorite computer or gaming console and start enjoying an authentic arcade experience at home.
Note: Be careful when tightening M3 machine screws into the 3D-printed parts, as over-tightening may cause damage to the plastic.
