Update August 8th, 2023. I realised I didn't need to drill the box for the humidity sensor, I simply printed a revised adapter so it screws into the hole designed to pour out the cereal etc. that the box is designed for. The new humidity sensor adapter is two pieces - HumiditySensorTop and HumiditySensorBottom.

I decided I needed individual dry boxes to print directly from. I have been using a dry box with multiple spools but this was less than ideal since I needed to constantly open the box to change filaments which degraded the silica gel quickly - and was a pain! Amazon (UK) sell a variety of 4L "cereal boxes". The ones that worked best had no ident for a hand hold, instead having just external ribs. I used the angled filament guides from this: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2896547 with the 4mm through hole bolts here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2921177 To make drilling the boxes easier I designed templates for both the filament guides and the spool holders. I also designed an adapter to adapt from the humidity sensor diameter to a standard 44mm hole saw. Finally I used a customisable spiral spool adapter to adapt my range of spool sizes to the 25mm dowel. (I downloaded the customisable spiral spool generator ages ago and cannot find the original designer - there's no identification in the SCAD file. If the original designer recognises his or her work from the sample STL here then let me know and I will gladly give you credit for it). Tip: generate the hole diameter 1mm bigger (26mm in this case) and the outside around 10% larger than the spool size for a loose fit in the former and tight fit in the latter!)
