Yes, I like complex and multicolored stuffs. So, here a new design for you with inserted filaments to add colors to your flower pot !

This model is specifically designed to be printed in vase mode (all the pictures above) but I added "full" versions for those wanting something more sturdy ( I didn't tested these ones).

ATTENTION: Be aware that you can't scale up or scale down this pot, either the filament wouldn't enter or it wouldn't hold in the slots.

So, I declined this pot in 3 sizes, each time with a dish and with or without a drainage hole :

• Large 142mm in diameter and 118mm height The inner hole measures 91mm when the pot is printed in vase mode and 88mm when printed fully. 2 versions ( with 7 or 3 filaments pieces)

• Medium 96mm in diameter and 80mm height The inner hole measures 60mm when the pot is printed in vase mode and 58mm when printed fully. Only one version. (3 filaments pieces)

• Small 81mm in diameter and 67mm height The inner hole measures 50mm when the pot is printed in vase mode and 46mm when printed fully. Only one version (3 filaments pieces)

There is a test model to check that your slicing profile will work with this pot and that you could insert the filaments in the slots.

I added a little "tripod" to hold your plant at the good height, feel free to scale it according to your need.

How to :

Print these pots in vase mode and with 0.2mm layers, not 0.3mm layers because it will fail :'(

I recommend to insert each small filaments piece in first, then mark where it will necessary to cut before removing them and cut at the right length, before reinserting them. Add the longest piece at the end. (you should try with the test model)

If it's too hard to insert the filaments pieces, you can pre-bend the filament to its future slot and I also recommend to round the filament's extremity. To have a better grip, use pliers.You can print the pot at 102.5 or 105% as last resort.

You can also clip the filament by pushing it in the slot with a tool, it worked for me with the vase mode version.
