I find commercially-available painter's points (large plastic pyramids) too unwieldy and unstable for many projects, particularly painting cabinet doors.
These mini painting points are about the diameter of a US nickel coin, and have a recess in the base to allow them to stack neatly, either for storage, or to raise the height of the supported object further from the work surface. As pictured, I used stacks of two in each corner of these small cabinet doors, to provide more clearance over the padded moving blanket that I was using to protect the countertop.
They fit well in plastic "mini M&Ms" candy tubes for storage. Due to the angle of the recess, no supports are necessary.
