Modelo 3D Basic pen por acc_24376 en Thingiverse

Descripción

A basic fountain pen. Accepts a JoWo #5 nib unit (section_v4.stl) or Schmidt PRS rollerball unit (section_rb.stl). The body should be long enough for most converters, long cartridges, or two short cartridges. Two options for the cap are included, one with a thicker band reinforcing the cap threads and another without such reinforcement.

Three files (TEST_*_threads.stl) are provided for you to check whether your printer, resin, and exposure settings are able to hold the necessary threads. Check that the body screws into the cap, the section screws into the body, and the nib you're planning on using screws into the section.

Caveats:

  • Your printer and resin must be capable of and correctly configured to hold 0.5mm-pitch threads. I suggest using the test files described above to check before printing the complete pen.
  • There is a significant amount of clearance built-in to make the threads smooth off the build plate. It should work for resins with about 5–10% shrinkage; a very-low-shrinkage resin might result in threads that slip. Or not, use the test models to find out.
  • I suggest printing the cap and body with the closed ends towards the plate, and the section with the nib side towards the plate. They should be vertical or angled no more than 10º or the threads may misprint.
