Inspired by the Abrams X Experimental prototype, This is my brand new Dominator X heavy tank. This advanced tank is designed to operate in hostile environments both as part of a combined arms team, or independently. It can be configured with a large, long range, twin mounted gun, or a similar single gun - capable of neutralising armoured vehicles both statically and on the move, and is capable of rapid fire. The turret operates automatically, meaning minimum crew required. The tank is equipped with a double armament of "Zapper MK1" defensive surface to air/surface to surface missiles for short/medium range operation. These are capable of taking down inbound anti tank missiles and low flying aircraft, using a large radius fragment blast warhead, or engaging surface targets as required. It is anticipated that the tank will carry a mixed fit of high explosive and fragment warhead missiles for mixed use.
The tank is equipped with an advanced active and passive sensor suite, datalink, and a state of the art first look/first kill targeting system.
The skin of the tank is air cooled, and coated in "stealthy" materials, to reduce vulnerability and increase the likelihood of a first look first kill shot.
As a heavy tank, this tank has a long range, and is designed to dominate the areas into which it operates. It can be fitted with a full machine gun nest, for local defence, and is designed to be modular for easy repair in the field.

This is work in progress - I am printing approximately widdth 60mm/ length 140mm/ Height 45mm as a 1/72 model (to match the rest of my large collection). I would recommend printing sitting diagonally on its tail with supports and the file is also available on TinkerCAD.

I am printing the tank as I write this - I will post pics as soon as I have completed it to my satisfaction!
