Update 2017/8:

I added some more snippets :-)

This snippets will allow for easy code completion by offering itself when you type and press CTR+SPACEBAR in Kate.

Its an early version, there is more possible with scripts and stuff but I only use these functions for now.

There is also a icon file and Settings for Kate and a screenshot how to create a new filetype for .scad

If you want, improve it and write me a note. Then i will update this version with the better one :-)

Instruções

Install the files in the directories written in the Readme files. See the Settings Screenshots for the Kate settings. You have to create a filetype for .scad files. This is easy!

Also maybe you need to enable the "Snippets tool view" pluigin in the settings of Kate.

Then click into the plugin-snippets-bar and click on "Add Repository" Then search for OpenSCAD.

Have fun.

These instructions work on KDE 5.
