I use quite a few of these for different gadgets. I'm always worried that they may short out being that their ends are normally exposed. These caps will keep the ends covered. Simply use a rubber band as shown to keep the caps on the batteries.

This doesn't need to be super strong, but due to the thin walls, you should print it with at least 50% fill. I printed @ 250 microns.
