This cute bee mobile is a fun little make that you can use to use up little bits of left over yellow PLA, either keep for yourself of give as gift.

The 5 bees can be printed on standard 200x200 print bed in one go (set to print each one at a time) and each bee only takes a few mintutes to print.

Once printed then draw or paint the stripes and draw a face on. Cut out some wings from white card and assemble with a blob of hot melt glue just behind the head, also sticking on some thread.

Stick the threads to bamboo skewers cut to size to assemble the mobile. The shorter bamboo sticks should be just just under half the length the of the longer one so they don't get tangled as they rotate. One bee is central and hangs down from the centre point of the longest stick (or you could make a flower of hive instead).

Bees should be scalable so you can make them as big or small as you want.
