Descrição
This is a complete redesign of the Solder Spool Stand by Zebble (Wade Weppler), which is itself a remix of the Solder Stand by Arthur Guy. It uses 60% less filament and prints in 1/3 the time through the use of generous cutouts. Since I often cut the solder with my soldering iron, I have made the solder feeder out of bent metal wire. There is also a melt-proof M8 washer underneath the feeder which doubles as a decoration.
Most importantly, I wrote the code from scratch in OpenSCAD and am licensing it under the GPL so it can be further remixed at will.
Instruções
Printed here in PLA with 35% infill, 0.6mm shell thickness. Easy to print. For the metal feeder just bend a bit of 1.8~2mm metal wire to shape using long beak pliers. The M8 washer can be pushed to fit in the groove designed to accommodate it.
