The goal was to lift a big and heavy roller blind fast and silent using Apple HomeKit. I managed to do that but it took some time before I was satisfied.

Nema17, timing belt, bearing wheel and spur gear

Version 03:
Nema17 and three spur wheels Gearing: 2,6:1 (spur gear (10-12-26 teeth)) Perfect gear ratio but still too noisy at high speed.
Version 02:
Nema17 and two spur wheels Gearing: 1:1 (spur gear (26 teeth)) I used the locking mechanism from the original roller blind. Noisy and sometimes the nema17 couldn't lift the blind due to the gear ratio.
Version 01:
Nema17 Planetary Gearbox 5,18:1 Didn't work. The roller blind was too heavy to hold its position and too slow.
