This is the base for my alien speciment after printing i painted it with black rustoleum spray paint and a metalic spray on top of the black one afterwords i gave it a few dings and scratches and used some diluted black acrylic paint for the grease marks. the alien designd by Mustangdave https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1209437 you will also need the glass dome "BEGÅVNING" from IKEA and 43 mm spotlight with power supply also from ikea with i can not find the link. to assemble you must first put the alien in the dome and slide it in to the base groove after you field it with silicone to make a watertight seal. for the liquid i used tea packs to tint the water. after the silicone dry up you may fill the dome with the liquid from the small hole at the bottom and glue it shut with an 8 mm on 21 mm acrylic rod and e6000 glue.
