Inspired by the Eggbot design of herbert_b1, these parts are designed from scratch using OpenSCAD. The base has not been redesigned yet and the original version by herbert_b1 can be used, the other files are designed to be compatible with the original version.

The main advantages:

• Open Source: Feel free to modify the parts to fit your needs.
• Parameterizable: Easily adjust tolerances to avoid very challenging post-processing tasks
• Hinges and less parts: Less screws needed and with the right tolerances the hinge will fit tight and improve print quality. If eggbot drawings look bad and parts wiggle around the hinge, then lower the tolerance.
• Interlocking: Some parts did not stay in position in original position like O-Rings or piece 5 and 7. Fits stay in position with these new designs which simplifies the process of swapping eggs.

Disadvantage:

• Swapping between piece 10 and 11 from original design could be harder in this version (only if post-processing of original design worked much better for you than for me ;-))
