this was a combo new years flyer and sunglasses. always nice to have an extra pair of glasses around when you know it is soon to be bright out. the pieces all pressure fit together and the led is key to securing the arm joint. this was lots on fun to personalize the writing and font for gifting.

a string was required to secure the glasses to face for dancing. seeing through them depends on your text.

laser cut arms from 1/8 in. arcylic. cut faceplate from 1/4 inch.

add leds to arm pieces facing away from text.

bend one leg through the adjacent hole to draw (+) current from opposite side. now you are basically making a throwie from each arm piece then pressure fitting them into the face plate.
