So my friends and I made a vow to share more insights about the books we read. I thought a bookmark that featured a picture of us the day we agreed that would help remind us.

I was surprised when I searched Thingiverse for a picture frame bookmark and got nix. Because they're a thing IRL that I could order from rural China to get transported to the nearest port where it would pile into a container and cross the ocean to get put in a truck to go to a warehouse to get stuffed in a way-too-big box full of styrofoam peanuts to get driven to my doorstep.

Or I could design my own and print it here at a fraction of the carbon cost.
