Descrição
Depending on the parameters, a coat hanger, a hat hanger or even a doorknob.
It could do with more elegant screw holes, but I am not going to work on it any more.
Inspired by the Dots coat hook by Muuto (http://www.muuto.com/collection/The_Dots_coat_hooks/Dots coat hooks).
The files "coathook.stl", "coat hanger.stl" and "hanger.stl" are with two screw holes. The files "hathook.stl" and "maskhook.stl" are without screwholes.
Instruções
Edit the coat hook in Customizer OR:
-
Download the "Coat hook.scad" file and open it in your favorite text editor.
-
If you are going to use screws to attach your coat hook to the wall, screw one or two screws inot the wall. If you want a flat back in stead, set "screw_hole_size=0;" in the .scad file
-
If you have used two screws, meassure the distance between the screws, from the left side of one screws head to the left side of the other screw head, in mm. Set this number as "screw_distance". If you only want one screw, set this number to 0.
-
Meassure the diameter of the screw heads, in mm, and set this number as "screw_hole_size".
-
Select the other parameters. Check that the screw holdes are placed nicely in the back plate. Compile to .stl
-
Print with 2 extra shells. I use 5% fill.
-
Hang up your new coat hook. If it falls down later, put a little ball of Blu-Tack in each screw hole before putting the coat hook back up.
