ESPER LONGBOI (NEW UPDATE 1/31/2022!!!) ==============  Currently working on a ESPER for full length darts (Dubbed the ESPER LONGBOI), since the group I play with is still on the fence about half-lengths (I know........). I'm very new to 3D design and modding, so I would love feedback.

Current state of the build (Updated 1/31/2022) :

• Uses mostly the same hardware kit as the normal ESPER (this was a design goal)
• "top spacer top" (bit of tubing that goes in the Priming handle) is 2.35cm longer
• Plunger tube is 2.35cm longer (insert Bob Ross quote about happy accidents)
• Uses a Caliburn ramrod core instead of an ESPER ramrod core (using Sillybutts' Flat Print Caliburn Ramrod as of right now - linked as a remix)
• One of the 90276A837 Bolts needs to be trimmed down about 1/2 cm (the one the bands wrap around), or just use a shorter screw if you have one laying around.
• Everything else is the same as far as hardware goes (for now at least)
• All the printed parts can still fit on a Prusa mini, though the sear is now ~177mm long, so you'll have to angle it a lil bit
• You will need to print some things from the OG ESPER files:
• Grip
• Trigger
• Trigger Guard
• Rambase
• Known Issues:
• Magwell Printability: The threaded rods are placed so close together they its kinda a problem. When opening up the Magwell enough that it can fit a full length mag, it actually exposes the threaded rods. I think it will work fine but it might scratch up any pretty mags you have. It also means you might need support - I'll get back to this. For now I included my PrusaSlicer file for printing EUpperL and EUpperR that uses minimal supports.
• Doesn't work with Cord Cover Nameplates (Gonna need to make them 2.35cm longer... its an easy fix)
• Should work with most everything as far as CS accessories go... well.. unsure about the fore grip kit.
• General aesthetics (very low priority)
• I accidentally mirrored the threads on the DartJam piece but I am unsure on how to fix this as of right now. I did a quick and dirty fix - removed all the streaming and then trimmed the threading on the OG slug Collet so that it is now a friction fit. Long term solution underway.
• Things to look into (idk what to call them):
• Does it even fire? I don't know if the priming length is long enough for the ram rod to clear the back end of the dart. (prototype will be assembled in ~a week) I don't want to change the length of the ramrod core this blaster uses since that will make this blaster less accessible to people.

Assembly:

Assembly should be mostly the same as an OG ESPER; just use ur noggin'.

ESPER: Excited Smoothbrain Pangolin...... Eats...... Raspberries???? idk

As always, anyone is welcome to modify or take from this design, so long as in doing so they acknowledge Captain Slug, myself, and anyone else who played a part in making this reality.

• increased the thickness of some of the walls on "EUpperL," "EUpperR," pieces and the Muzzle so they no longer break when you look at them funny.
• Cleaned up Magwell so I'm pretty sure it works. (further test will be down in ~a week once I have made an order from McMaster car parts)
• Modified so that it now uses the same length of threaded rods as Slug's OG ESPER
• Removed all branding and names on it for now except for the Pangolin. I want to do something special with that. (stay tuned)

__12/19/2021 __ Original Posting Date: As of right now there is little chance that this even works. Further testing will be done in January after I get back from holiday, but while I'm on holiday I will be working on general printability.
