A 3d printed cellphone hack, using the insides of a Samsung SGH-T109 (an old flip phone). I designed the housing on Tinkercad, Using the existing buttons, I made a whole new set of buttons. The challenge was matching the old buttons to the new ones. I LOVE this phone. It encourages conversation, Its definitely a head turner when I'm out, and I am excited about that. I love introducing people to the endless possibilities of 3d printing.

This took some patience on my end, but well worth the effort.
I had to carefully take apart the flip phone. I used an exacto knife, and screwdriver. Careful with the screen! you must unplug it first then remove it from the housing. You don't have to take the buttons off the old phone. Simply press it against the 3d printed buttons and carefully hot glue it around its edges.
Allign the screen, and speaker and do the same thing. The battery is put in place and taped down. Thats it!! The screws are metal screws, 2mm in width, 9mm in height. Ive used this phone for 3 weeks now and it runs great!!
