After over twenty years I finally got around to replacing the lighting in our dining room. I designed 5 simple parts in FreeCAD, ordered parts from Amazon, 4 days of printing, 2 days of assembly and I am very happy with the result. I arranged the 8 light fixtures in two staggered rows of four above the dining room table.

Here is the BOM:

1. any PLA
2. clear PETG for the shades (or not)
3. any number of hanging pendant lamp sockets
4. light bulbs to match
5. wire nuts, 2 per fixture + 2 for power source
6. appropriate wire
7. enough tie wraps to secure wires in the anchors
8. screws to secure anchors to ceiling
9. drywall anchors for screws if needed

Decide on the number of lights you need and lay them out in the pattern you like. Print the number of anchor and caps you need and one cover. Start printing your shades, my MKS3 took 7 hours for each one. See the 3mf files for printer settings.

You may need to design a custom cover if you have more than two chains or do not want the 90 degree geometry in the supplied cover, simple enough.
