3D model Riptide by aaronraw on Thingiverse

Description

I added a 7mm hole down the center of the length of the sword to put a metal rod in it. EDIT: Use a steel tube or (BEST) a carbon fiber tube! Threaded rods are too flexible and heavy. ALSO: The spelling is wrong(not my fault) so Id engrave a badge on a thin shiny metal to put over those spots. It will look fine.

I am scaling up this model in the slicer to 113.5%(to more closely match the 3ft of the "actual" sword) so the hole will be 8.1mm in diameter to fit the ~8mm threaded rods (use steel or carbon tubes!)I have.

.2 resolution. 30-40 infill. no supports or raft. NOTE: Arrange the model to be parallel with the Y axis, or perpendicular to the X. they will be less likely to fall over when the bed is moving.

If you want one made, hit me up at my etsy. I have very little free time for such things, so Ill see if I have a spot for it on my bench. ArawArtsAndBuilds is the shop.

also if you have questions on your builds, feel free to message me. We are all standing on the shoulders of giants.

Hope it helps!
