This is an attempt to make a somewhat working model of the Dial Home Device (DHD) to work in conjunction with the thing http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:39976 By Glitch. Feel free to use and edit at will and remember to give credit to the original designer.

The changes I made consisted of removing the solid spaces between the Gliphs. Creating a solid base and putting holes for running wires for LEDs, contact plates, and hopefully running wired to the stargate http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:39976 By Glitch.

Perhaps someone could use an Arduino to tie the two things together and make the Corresponding Gliphs on the DHD and the stargate light up in sequence when the Gliphs are pressed on the DHD???

Currently, only the outer ring of Gliphs/Chevrons are moveable.

I believe this thing can be printed as shown, although there may be need of some support under the gliphs? Current footprint is 200mm x 200mm

I am still working on the top and expect to start work on the base of the DHD soon. I have alot of time to accomplish this but it still is very tedious.

Any and all comments and suggestions are most welcome.

DHD Test 9C STL and SKP are the main DHD DHD Inner Bottom Cover and DHD outer Bottom Cover are covers for easy access for wiring and LEDs and contact points for on/off switches for LEDS

02-15-13 16:40 CST. okay folks, new files upload with some pretty good fixes done to them. 1 I split the DHD into layers for easier printing 2 Uploaded the newer files (I left the older files for those who want the entire unit) Files as follows: a. Oopps, I discovered a flaw in the gliph pad 2.stl. The decoration on the top half is not connected. Will repair as soon as possible.
