Changelog: 9-23-21 3:32PM EST: Updated grip to a v4 Caliburn style grip. Should be significantly stronger now. It still uses a spring for the sear, and there is now a printable pivot for the sear. The new printed parts are:

  • v4Grip3
  • v4TriggerBlock
  • v4SearPivot

A super-shorty Talon Claw U.

The files on Thingiverse are unsorted, download the .zip folder to have the files organized.

This blaster uses an Esper plunger tube, cut down TCv3 priming bars, and most of the standard TC bolts and screws and whatnot.

Spring length is 10cm, barrel length is 10 inches. Sorry for mixing measurements, but that's how it be! The ramcore is a standard TC one, with the tip trimmed. There is a cutting guide in the files here, as well as a fully printed ramcore replacement.

The U channels are replaced by printed versions. A foregrip is integrated into the design (a smooth version and a textured version).

There are files to make this Slamfire, as well as files for a shorter grip, a raider magwell, and paddle mag releases. The slamfire requires a takedown pin.

The assembly of this blaster is mostly the same as a Talon Claw U, and the bits that are different can be figured out with common sense.

Here is the hardware list:

  • 2x 123 o-ring

  • 3x extension spring

  • 1x 788 spring

  • 1x TC length barrel

  • 2x TalonClaw bolt arm

  • 32x 4-40 screws

  • 7x 10-32 hex nuts (+1 acorn nut for the back)

  • 8x 4-40 hex standoffs

  • 1x 4-40 round standoff

  • 1x takedown pin (for slamfire version)

  • 2x short pin

  • 1x large shock pad

  • 3x 10-32 1-3/4" screw

  • 3x 10-32 5/16" screw

  • 1x TalonClaw length threaded rod

  • 1x ESPER 1.5"od Plunger Tube

  • Hardware for v4 Grip Version *

  • 1x nylon spacer from Slug (Printed replacement is available in the files)

  • +7x 4-40 screw
