#Description It was requested that I work on an open-sourced blower setup for faceshields. Personal care and personal support workers (PSWs) are currently facing significant challenges with regards to maintaining proper PPE isolation and providing some of the basics of care, like showers.

In order to limit fogging of the faceshields with which they are issued, we are designing lightweight but suitably durable faceshield fans, with included space for replaceable filters.

##Additional Components

• Re-useable faceshield with foam, at least 30mm thick. (Or see new revision to https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4611135 for a semi rigid frame)
• Motor, see PDF spec for motor dimensions. 1-1.5V nom.
• Batteries, AA. Designed to be run off of 2xAAs in parallel for runtime, or a single AA if desired

#Update: End of Project(?)

• As a team, we were satisfied with the design exclusive of the battery holder, which might be better-off purchased rather than printed & soldered.
• This project was always intended to be open-sourced, however I backed away from selling any physical units because I do not possess the requisite liability insurance.
• When we decided that the only way forward was for users/institutions to print/source their own, we also determined that anyone charged with that task was probably quite capable of sourcing the battery case/power supply. -- Further, supply chain issues meant that the motors available for purchase at any one time that would also fit the apparatus might vary in power requirements, so again: limited utility in finishing the battery holder
