Robot Gripper Project Build ( 3D Print ) Hi,
I have designed my own custom Gripper to use for the Scara Robot Project.
You can also use it for any other Robot Application as well.
For the servo i am using the Power HD LW-20MG Servo 20KG, but you can also use the MG996 servo. They both have the same dimensions so it will fit the gripper assembly.
Make sure to supply a dedicated voltage 5.5-6 V for the servo.
To test you can use the Servo library included in the Arduino software.
For printing the parts, make sure that you place the parts so that the correct side is touching the build plate as in the image attached.
I print using 0.2 mm layer height, 80% infill, and around 45 mm/s printing speed.
