This is a derivative work of the iris box (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4458) by msruggles. I tried to print msruggles's iris box for my son, but failed. I think my bot is not so well-tuned that it simply cannot handle the tiny gears well, also my self-built HBP has a limited effective building area for like 80mm x80mm including the raft. So I redesigned the box to be more fool-bot friendly. Small enough in size, and no tiny gear teeth. If you have trouble printing the iris box, try this one.

1. The whole structure follows msruggles's design.
2. The 5 shutters are arranged in one print, but remember to skeinforge this file with support material set to "exteriors only". There's a pin for each shutter that need support to print.
3. Each pin goes in a slot in the "ring" part. The pins and the slots also interlock so that you can't over-turn the ring when the shutters were fully opened.
4. I simply used some filament to bolt the shutters and weld it on the "cover" with a soldering iron.

P.S. I also made a little pin on the "ring" to lock it on the "box" when shutters were fully closed. However, I may have left so little tolerance between "box" and "ring" that the lock is not necessary needed.
