Thank you for looking at my pinephone keyboard model!
2020-12-9 - I added a different version of the hinge piece with a cover for the pro micro. I have not printed these yet but I didn't like having the pro micro flapping in the breeze. Still working on the qmk profile connection.
Bought parts: Pinephone 4x m3x50mm 4x m3x30mm 6x m3 nut pro micro 40x Kailh Low Profile Choc Switches 40x Kailh Low Profile Choc keycaps 40x 1N4148 Switching Diode
Printed parts: 1x Pinephone_keyboard_phone case 1x Pinephone_keyboard_keyboard_bottom 1x Pinephone_keyboard_kickstand 1x Pinephone_keyboard_top_plate 1x Pinephone_keyboard_hinge1of2 2x Pinephone_keyboard_hinge2of2 4x Pinephone_keyboard_gear
Assembly instructions Pinephone_keyboard_hinge1of2 has 4 m3 tapped holes for the 4x Pinephone_keyboard_gear. These are sized for a tapped hole in the model. The rest of the parts are assembled with captured nuts.
Notes *Pinephone_keyboard_phone case was heavily modified to allow for easier 3d printing from the official model. There is a channel in the model to access the i2c pins on the phone.
*I am still developing the qmk profile for the keyboard and i2c interface and do not have information to contribute to this at the moment.
*I have left enough room to hand wire the choc switches in the bottom piece.
*The keyboard top plate is pressure fit into the bottom piece.
*I have the pro micro held with a rubber band to allow access to the usb port but have left provisions for a cover which I will model when the keyboard software is sorted.
*I reused the power/volume buttons from my original case.
