This is a 3D print for an ant nest, for the species Temnothorax or "acorn ant". The nest normally lives in a hollow acorn. You can make them move to a different nest by opening the acorn, and putting them in a box with this new nest.

The back is open so you can close it with a transparent piece of plastic sheet for observation of the inside. Make sure to cover the transparent part with a non-transparent material to block the light from the nest.
