Descrição
Printing this base converts an already great tactile on/off switch into an LED illuminated one.

Instructions
- Purchase a white "KAN-15" switch from Aliexpress: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32799204671.html
- Print this base and then nestle the switch into it. There's space on the bottom for an SMD LED or two.
- Solder to PCB (see KiCad section, below, for component footprints)
I printed mine with basic white PLA. I'm sure it would look great using some transparent filaments.
It's not advised to put the base into a reflow oven, as it's likely to melt.
Kicad Footprints
I have created a KiCad footprint for this switch and the courtyard in the footprint outlines the base and gives you an idea of how much room you have for LEDs.
The footprints are in this repository, named "SW_KAN-15_SMD" and "SW_KAN-15_PTH" (surface mount and through-hole, respectively): https://github.com/jgillick/KiCad-library
To modify the switch, itself, to be surface mountable, simply bend the leg 90 degrees.
