A grape / wine press with a volume of just over 11 litres.
Customisable via the openSCAD files, use different sizes of planks for the barrel, a different number of planks etc
A 3d printer enabled project as some woodwork required!
In use the 12mm threaded rod through the center has locknuts top and bottom. there is a captive nut on the top paddle. Rotating the threaded rod, with a big bar, screws the top paddle down and compresses the grapes. The bottom paddle is held in place by 3 bottom retainers, it (and the compressed cake) can be removed by rotating the base.

As built the wine press uses:
Barrel:
13 planks of 4.4x1.8x30cm planks
3 planks 4.4x1.8x35cm planks (for the legs)
10 barrel support.stl
3 bottom stop.stl
Paddles:
18mm ply (this was just for speed you could probably make something that looks / works better)
Top paddle includes top_nut_trap assembly (top nut trap.stl, M12 nut, M12 repair washer - the nut is a tight fit, I put mine in the freezer before tapping it in place)
Centre Rod:
M12 x 60cm
2 nuts and M12 repair washer for the bottom
2 nuts for the top
