What happens when you combine a FunHouse Mirror with an Infinity Mirror ?

The goal of this prototype is to start exploring a bit what you can do with a FunHouse Infinity Mirror.

Vitamins

You will need the usual stuff to build a small infinity mirror: a square mirror (3mm x 10cm x 10cm), a 30cm long LED strip and a piece of 50% reflective film (about 10cm x 10cm).

Assembly

Insert the LED strip inside the rings on the Base_v001.stl component, then slide the mirror in.
Cut a disk with a diameter of 10cm in your piece of half-reflective film.
Choose a pair of xxx_outside.stl and xxx_inside.stl, and use them to sandwich the round piece of film you just cut. Attach that sandwich directly on top of the Base component.
Et voila !

Experimenting

Different shapes for the half-reflective funhouse mirror will give drastically different results. If you're feeling adventurous, you really should try to design your own !!
You can open the .dsm design file with the (free) DesignSpark Mechanical Software.
