Locking Unit Tray (5) MK3 ==================== For Warhammer 40k and other 28mm wargames

Summary

Combine 5 models into a single unit with this Unit tray.

Add the Base and Clip to lock the units into the Unit Tray for display and transport.

This design is explicitly designed to match 28mm, 32mm, and 40mm CITADEL brand bases. The Bases can be used as replacement bases for your models if you wish, but it also means you can lock two 5 model units into a third Unit Tray and create 10 model units.

I am working on the design for a modular rail system to lock multiple models and Unit Trays into a transport/display box.

Hardware

• Each Base requires and M3x8 or longer bolt.
• Each Clip requires an M3 nut.
• Alternatively, you can use a very long M3 bolt and two M3 nuts if you prefer to screw from the top down.
• You can source metric bolts from your local hardware store.
• If you are too much of a red-blooded Yankee to use metric like the rest of the engineering industry -- and indeed, the planet -- I've included the Fusion 360 archive file for you to edit.
