Updates
20/02/2021
- I have now run this design for more than 150 print hours, it seem to perform ok, no issues with prints or belt wear.
- Only issues so far is the bearings have failed on the 2 rear toothed idlers. These were of dubious quality so have replaced with a known good supplier. Will monitor to see if this is down to design issue or poorly manufactured part. It may be that i redesign the idlers to a larger tooth count and use dowl pins to secure to ensure a secure fit on the bearings.
22/07/2020 - Adjusted offset to *_front_roller.stl to correctly align belt path. - Added hammer nut slots to *_rear_mount.stl.
