LED lantern. It can be used with LED tealights, or with a LED and battery. The sample stl files are for a 40mm x 60mm lantern, sized to fit a tealight. See the instructions section for how to create a custom version.

The lantern requires three parts, the top ring, the window, and the base. Use the customizer to generate all three pieces. There are couple options on they type of lantern, here's a brief summary.

window style - The window can be generated as a flat sheet and rolled into a cylinder (this lets you make a thin transparent or translucent window) or you can print the window as a cylinder.

led holder - you can build a led holder into the lantern, or print it with a flat base and add a led tealight (or use the LED holder at http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:45028).

dimensions - You can adjust the dimensions of the lantern and the various gaps to get it to work with your printer specs. Test prints can help to get the correct dimensions: http://www.thingiverse.com/walter/collections/test.

warning: I haven't tried using it with wax tealight candles and wouldn't recommend it (the lantern will probably melt). A larger one might be ok with the taller glass votive candles.
