Moving project over to printables

PopSocket Modular mount.

So i was looking for some Popsocket mounts but dint find any i liked so i designed one my self. This is design for my phone and car so if it don't fit just tell me and i will make it more universal.

Phone stand you will need:

  • 1x PopSocket Stand Base.
  • 1x PopSocket Stand Pole 30/40 deg.
  • 1x PopSocket Mount.
  • 1x M3x20mm slotted screw.
  • 1x M3 nut.
  • 1x 4,2x32mm slotted wood screw.
If you need a longer/shorter PopSocket Stand pole just download the STEP-file and edit the length your self.

Car mount you will need:

  • 1x PopSocket car mount.
  • 1x PopSocket mount or PopSocket Mount + Support if you are going to use PopSocket Mount arm Support.
  • 1x M3x20mm slotted screw.
  • 1x M3 nut.
Optinal:
  • 1x PopSocket Mount Arm Support.
  • 1x PopSocket Swivel ball Mount Thread.
  • 1x Popsocket Swivel ball Mount nut.
  • 1x PopSocket Swivel Ball Mount Ball.
  • 2x 1,5x15mm steel wire
  • 1x M3x20mm slotted screw.
  • 1x M3 nut.

If you need a longer/shorter PopSocket Mount Arm Support just download the STEP-file and edit the length your self.
You may need to glue some parts together so they don't turn.

Print settings and orientations:

I have used PLA and works fine for me, where i live we dont get it to hot in the summer. but i recommend to use Petg or something better so that the parts don't deforme.
  • PopSocket Mount is printed flat with Support everywhere and with Brim, print solid, use the lowest Resolution for best fitment.
  • PopSocket Mount + Support is printed flat with Support everywhere and with Brim, print solid, use the lowest Resolution for best fitment.
  • PopSocket Mount Arm Support Printed solid.
  • PopSocket Stand Base printed flat with 25<% infill with any Resolution.
  • PopSocket Stand Pole printed standing 20<% infill with any Resolution.
  • PopSocket Swivel Ball mount ball printed standing 25<% infill lowest Resolution.
  • PopSocket Swivel Ball Mount Nut printed standing with the flatest surface down 25<% infill lowest Resolution.
  • PopSocket Swivel Ball Mount Thread printed standing with the flatest surface down 25<% infill lowest Resolution.
  • PopSocket Car Mount printed sideways 25<% infill any Resolution but lower is better.
  • Use at least 4 top/bottom layers and 5 walls.

Update 05.07.2020

  • Added a new PopSocket Mount with support for a Arm support.
  • Added PopSocket Arm Support.
  • Added Step-file for PopSocket Arm Support.
  • tweak PopSocket Car Mount to fit 1,5mm steel wire so that the PopSocket Swivel Ball mount Thread won't turn.
  • tweak PopSocket Swivel Ball mount Thread to fit 1,5mm steel wire.

Update 15.06.2020

  • Update file names and stl.
  • Fix wall thickness on PopSocket Swivel Ball Mount Nut.
  • Small twiks onPopsocket Swivel Ball Mount Thred.
  • fix PopSocket Pole angeles.
  • Added Step-file for PopSocket Stand pole 30/40 deg so you can edit the length to your desire.

Planning to at:

  • Dash mount.
  • Support mount so the phone don't turn around when use inn car.
  • Some short of articulating arm.
  • Tripod mound.
  • Bike cycle mount.
If u have some other ides for some mounts just tell me and i will try to make it.
