This is a parametric OpenSCAD implementation of the Flexible Coupling created by Gyrobot (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:38678).
UPDATES 2012-01-24: I made this part "Customizer compliant". 2018-01-08: I added the possibility to choose different TOP and BOTTOM values for the shaft diameter (and related flat shaft thickness). NOTE: put the smaller diameter on bottom to reduce overhangs.
Instruções
Open the .scad file and change the parameter according to your needs (see image as a reference for dimensions):
D1 = OUTER DIAMETER D2a = INNER DIAMETER (BOTTOM) D2b = INNER DIAMETER (TOP) H1 = TOTAL HEIGHT H2 = BASE HEIGHT N = NUMBER OF FLEXIBLE ELEMENTS D3 = SCREW HOLE DIAMETER Dnut = NUT HOLE DIAMETER Hnut = NUT HOLE THICKNESS Ba = FLAT SHAFT THICKNESS (BOTTOM) Bb = FLAT SHAFT THICKNESS (TOP)
NOTE: put the smaller diameter on bottom to reduce overhangs.
A 3D stl file is provided, generated using the default values.
