This is a basic bow vise which can be used in either a bench vise or held to a bench using a G Clamp.
I used 30% infill which seems to be OK but you can always use more infill if desired. I find 30% to be pretty strong.
When printing the clamp block stand it on its edge to allow better flex when squeezed in a vise or G clamp.
Assembly is done by winding the main screw in through the top of the vise, leaving enough clearance to slide the vise plate with the inserted plate pin underneath. Align the pin with the hole in the bottom of the screw and wind down until it is driven home (there will still be a clearance between the bottom of the screw and the top of the vise plate to allow the screw to turn.
The threads my be quite tight for the first few uses but they seem to bed in OK after a few turns.
NOTE: You may need to squeeze the clamp body together as you press the pin in as the main body jaws may warp slightly, making it hard to drive the pin in.
I recommend using the clamp block as it provides a better clamping surface on the vise arm.
Another mod you may consider is gluing rubber pads to the contact surfaces of the vise to prevent potential scratching of the bow limbs.
