Descrição
This is a small collection of customizable pegboard things:
- An adapter with hooks for aligning a pegboard to shelf standards
- Combination spacer/support for supporting the pegboard from the bottom
- A pegboard tray for holding loose stuff
- Pegboard hooks
- Straps for attaching a Tenergy TB6B battery charger to a pegboard
- Pegboard 1S LiPo 6in1 charger holder
- Pegboard anchor hook and nub module used by the other pegboard modules
Update jul-2022:
- Moved pegboard-1s-6in1-charger-holder customizer parameters from pegboard-1s-6in1-charger-holder.scad to pegboard-things.scad. Refactored pegboard-1s-6in1-charger-holder.scad modules to take input parameters.
- Added utility .scad file duplicate-shapes.scad.
Update mar-2022:
- The pegboard things OpenSCAD files have gone through a fairly major restructuring in order to consolidate common parameters and customizable variables into a single OpenSCAD file. Additionally, variable names have been cleaned up to make them more descriptive, consistent, and unique.
- The top level pegboard-things.scad file contains all the customizable parameters in one place. Common utilities from the old pegboard-things.scad have been moved pegboard-thing-utils.scad
- Add pegboard tool and cup holder part
- Update the pegboard tray so the front lip angle can be 90 degrees, making a box
- Add showcase display to part select
- Updated STL files: longer hooks on 11-hook part for holding more USB cables
- Also, minor updates to the .STL filename encoding. The encoding is printed out by pegboard-things.scad each time a new preview or render is performed.
- Rename the charger holder to loop shaped holder since it can be used to hold other things besides the Tenergy TB6B battery charger
Update jan-2021:
- Add an 11 hook USB cable holder pegboard STL. The hook length is 30mm.
- Add a thicker, longer single hook STL with a slightly higher angle for holding heavier objects.
Update may-12-2020:
- Added pegboard hooks
- Added pegboard 1S 6in1 charger holder
- Fixed a minor anchor positioning bug
- Refactored pegboard-things.scad to make more useful for other pegboard hole sizes and separations
General Notes:
- By default, the pegboard things are designed for 1/4" holes, 1" hole spacing, and 3/16" pegboard thickness
- In general, customizable pegboard and shelf standard dimensions are in inches, and everything else is in millimeters. I've tried to document this as best as possible.
- In pegboard-tray.scad, anchor hooks are automatically spaced based on number of anchor hooks and tray width.
- The standard-to-pegboard-hook.scad customizer variable front_plate_hole_width_in default value is 3.5", which is a big enough opening for four pegboard holes. If, for example, the positioning of the pegboard and standard is such that only 3 pegboard holes are needed, then make this value 2.5" instead.
- pegboard-charger-holder.scad: print two straps, one for each side.
- Included units.scad is from the OpenSCAD repo in libraries/MCAD.
- Tested with the OpenSCAD customizer only, not with the Thingiverse customizer app.
Pegboard Hooks Notes:
- Anchors are automatically placed. Some control over anchor placement can be had by tweaking the hook_s2s_separation, hook_dist_to_side, and anchor_hook_offset_to_edge variables.
- Increase the hook_diameter and possibly hook_angle for supporting heavier objects. The current defaults are 5mm and 2 degrees respectively.
- Extra anchor clearance: + value makes anchors longer/narrower, - value makes anchors shorter/fatter. I used this for the hook that acts as a clasp over the line ruler (upper right of the pegboard picture). The extra anchor hook clearance allows the clasp to be easily removed.
- flip_for_print customizable variable: this is false by default, but I usually set it to true before rendering/exporting the STL. Setting up the proper print orientation can also be done in the slicer, but I use flip_for_print as a convenience.
1S 6in1 Charger Notes:
- It is recommended to print the hole-check first to verify the charger pegs fit in the corresponding holder holes. If not, adjust the charger dimensions or hole_clearance accordingly. The hole_clearance used to generate the STL file is relatively large so the holder should be usable even if your printer is off by a little.
Thanks!
