Descripción
This is a design based of the popular 3DVerkstan model Found here: https://3dverkstan.se/protective-visor/
IMPORTANT CURA SETTINGS! NOZZLE USED: .4MM Layer Height: .32mm Line Width: .5mm Wall line count: 4 Infill: 20% Print Speed: 70 Brim: 5 (Optional/Can be adjusted) MAKE SURE BED IS LEVELED!!
Do not use PETG for stacking. PETG while fuse models together and it will be extremely difficult to separate
There were some adjustments made to allow for stacking which were easily made in Tinkercad. The model is exactly 5.12mm in height, spacing between models is exactly .32mm. The reason for this is because when the model is sliced, spacing is always rounded.
I also added a bottom layer that is exactly .96mm high which allows for a brim and easy clean up.
Everything here was inspired by these Youtube videos. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3pK8DqJyOPU&t=988s https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n6xn3IjSPwc&t=297s
I found these videos very helpful especially when it came down to how the slicer worked, but I felt that it was a little to over engineered, so I developed my own process that everyone can use.
Included in this file you should find the model I used to create the stack and also a ready to print 5 stack if the proper setting listed above are used in your slicer settings. So far I have printed several stacks without any issue when slicing with CURA.
